The Victorian Government is delighted to welcome competitors, spectators, officials and volunteers to the 2015 Boulder Nationals.
We are excited to welcome over 200 athletes from across the country to compete in the highest level competition of Bouldering for 2015. This event promises to be full of exciting action and is a great opportunity to watch some of the best climbers from around Australia.
Victoria is proud of its status as the sporting capital of Australia. Our long list of events remains the envy of the world, providing a boost to local economies, jobs in tourism and hospitality, while encouraging more Victorians to participate in sport.
The Victorian Government has contributed to the funding of the 2015 Boulder Nationals through the Significant Sporting Events Program.
I encourage Victorians and our visitors to come along and watch some great climbing, while enjoying all the wonderful things on offer in the Ballarat region.
Congratulations to everyone involved in staging and supporting these championships including Sport Climbing Victoria, Sport Climbing Australia and Ballarat Regional Tourism, event sponsors, state teams and the dedicated volunteers.
