The last Open State Lead Titles of the series was held this weekend in Queensland. Sport Climbing Queensland (SCQ) have trialled a new format splitting the Open and Youth State Lead Titles.
This meant only Open competitors competed ahead of the Open National Championships to be held in two weekends time on the 23-25 March, 2018 while the QLD Youth State Lead Titles will be held on 21-22 April, 2018 ahead of the Youth National Championships being held on 11-13 May, 2018.
