Adaptive Climbing victoria Are Hiring

We’re hiring! ACV have a lot of exciting projects in the works, and we are looking for a passionate individual to help us make them happen. The All Abilities Project Officer (AAPO) is a part time role (0.2 FTE, about 8-10 hours a week), created specifically for persons with a disability. The role will act as a support to the committee members, and under the guidance of our team the AAPO will assist with:⁣

⁣- Coordinating quarterly ‘Come and Try’ days, to be hosted across different climbing facilities in Melbourne⁣

– Implementing a regular calendar of ‘Social Mondays’: low pressure social climbs at different climbing facilities around Melbourne⁣

– Facilitation of the ‘Gym Engagement’ project through the development of training guides for facilities to help advise on how to create adaptive climbing friendly spaces⁣

– Helping to create engagement resources, disability awareness and programming training materials⁣

– Creating content (video/social/written) to support event promotion, project delivery and engagement⁣
